"TATE"

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, brother & friend, Orville Andrew Tatro departed his life peacefully Thursday, June 23, 2011 in Moapa, Nevada.

Tate was born February 13, 1927 in Bushnell, Florida. He married his Sweetheart Lavonne April 14, 1946 in Seattle, Washington, while serving in the US Navy aboard the USS Yorktown in WWII from 1944-1947.

All of his live he ventured in many different business opportunities. He was a Mason, belonged to the Hunter Lions Club where he was involved in promoting building projects for the community, fundraisers, and the Lions Eye Bank at the University of Utah. He loved fishing, hunting, camping & boating with his family & friends.

Tate was preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

Survived by his loving wife, Lavonne Nelson Tatro; daughters, Paula Gessel
Tatro, Nancy (Mark) Bateman, and Debbie (Scott Peterson) Walker; son, Lamonte (Cori) Tatro; sister, Marcella Stapleton Bregg; 6 grandchildren, Shalmaria Jones, Sharmaine Snyder, Justin Bateman, Jessie Zufelt, Jason Walker, and Jarrod Walker; and 8 great grandchildren, Brady Jones, Darcy Jones, Kordell Snyder, Sloane Snyder, Alexis Walker, Dylan Laine, Weston Archambault, and his name sake, Tate Zufelt.

The family would like to thank the Virgin Valley Health & Hospice Care especially, Jamy & Rhonda, and the many friends & family for their concern & caring.

A memorial in honor of TATE will be held at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 S. Magna, Utah on June 30, 2011 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.  Burial will be in Kenmare, North Dakota.  Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
