Rebecca Augustine

Rebecca Marie Anderson Augustine, born to Glen Anderson and Ethel Shaw Anderson in Huntington Utah on August 17, 1941 passed away peacefully at home on August 27, 2018.

Marie's siblings:  Elaine Anderson Wilson, Bob, Wayne and Lynn Anderson

Marie's children: MeKelle Andrezzi, Staci Andrezzi, Tanja Andrezzi Spjut and Shawn Tibbit

She also has 6 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren

Marie's determination and independent nature, along with a great sense of humor and just a touch of sarcasm made up the personality we all love.

Marie's response to the phrase "life isn't fair" would be "well, why isn't it?"  She spent a great portion of her life in service to others - dedicated to programs such as HeadStart and Community Action.  Her run for a Utah Senate seat in the early 1980s was just an example of her desire to make a difference.

There will be an opportunity to share memories and celebrate the life of Marie on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Utah.
