Ronald Chad Miller

Ronald Chad Miller passed on June 20, 2023.  He was 56 years old.

Ronald or as he is known to his family, Chad was born on November 3, 1966 in Buffalo, New York. Ronald graduated from Mater Dei High School. Middletown, NJ in 1984. He got his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University in 1988. He worked for a time at the Bank of New York and Solomon’s Brothers. He established the Library for Harvigtsen’s school for special needs in Salt Lake City, UT.

Dedication, compassion, strength and love are the tenants of how Ronald lived his whole life journey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Julia, their children; Kyle, Tyler and Sarah, his parents Ronald Sr., and Cecilia Miller; his brothers and their spouses; Timothy and Holly Miller, Brian and Doris Miller. He was a stay-at-home super dad (and cat dad) who dedicated himself to ensure his family and friends’ happiness and future, listening to their problems and did whatever he could in his power to help. Often times it was being a willing ear to listen to others’ misfortune, a calm voice to lend his advice and experience, becoming a mentor in the face of new challenges and many a time, use his humorous wit to uplift our spirits. He is the embodiment of loving unconditionally and implicitly, learning to have peace with our differences and love each other regardless of that.

He had a strong sense of empathy, able to sense others’ problems but respected their privacy when needed. He knew when to push and when to retreat, trusting in people to reach out when they needed to and gave them his full attention when they did. His impact on others is monumental, coming from the big acts of love to the many everyday kindnesses he performed. And more often than not, he underestimated his influence on others, how sweet he made their day and emboldened them to face their challenges. He will be missed.

A viewing will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St. (2700 S.). Private interment.
