Ruby Velasquez

Ruby was born on August 25th, 1976, and passed away on June 14th, 2026, in Farmington New Mexico. She was raised in Magna Utah where she was married and then later divorced but had three wonderful children, Jake, Elizabeth, and Shayla Williams. Ruby will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the memory she created with those who knew her. Her presence touched so many lives and will be deeply missed. 

She is survived by her loving Parents Arlene Maez and Martine Velasquez; her children Jake, Elizabeth, and Shayla Williams; her siblings, Terri Sanchez, Judy Maez, Jeri Maez, Sheri Wiley (Scott), Martine Velasquez Jr, Stephanie Scoggan (Shane), Leann Velasquez; numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, and Uncles. 

Ruby was preceded in death by her grandmother Ruby Martinez, Her brothers, Mike (Magoo) Maez, Tracy Velasquez, and Burt Maez, her Nephews Felix Sanchez and Robert Maez, her niece, Leticia Maez, brother-in-law Steve Sanchez, and Eddie (Bobo) Gutierrez.

Services will be held August 25th, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. 

The Union Hall 2650S. 8950 W. Magna, Utah. 

Burial at Magna Cemetery 9200 W. 3500 S. Magna Utah. 

Luncheon is back at the Union Hall.
