Ruth Harris

Ruth Harris, mom, sister, grandma, “grandma great”, friend, born March 5, 1930 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday.

Ruth was an active member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was involved in the choir and lady’s guild. She was presented with the woman of the year award in 2015. She worked for Northrop Grumman for 37 years. She loved spending time in the kitchen cooking, baking and canning her harvest from her garden. She also loved spending time at the senior citizen center doing ceramics and painting.

She leaves behind her daughter, Rae Ann Jensen, son, Richard (Kris) Duerlinger, sister, Vera Rasmussen, brother, Jimmy Dailey, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Beatrice Dailey, sister, Maryann Waseleski, brothers, Sonny, Joe, and John Dailey, and daughter, Rhonda Lybbert. We would like to say a special thank you to her neighbors and church family for all their help throughout the years.

Viewing will be held on November 3 from 5:30 to 6:45 pm followed by the Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held on November 4 at 10 am. Both services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna located at 2840 S 9000 W.

Graveside services will be held at the Valley View Memorial Park in West Valley City located at 4335 W 4100 S.
