Sena Taylor

Sena Swensen Taylor our loving sweet mother passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018.  Sena was born October 7, 1947 in SLC, UT to Charles and Barbara Swensen of Magna.  She graduated from Cyprus High School in 1965.  Then graduated from beauty school before marrying Frank A. Taylor March 19, 1968 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Mom loved children, reading books, sewing and needle work.  She shared a close and special relationship with her siblings her whole life.  She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and enjoyed being a homemaker.  She also worked for several years as a teachers’ aide.  Helping teach children with disabilities at Freemont Elementary School in the Granite School District.  She lived with Multiple Sclerosis for 35 years but did not let it define her.

She is survived by her children; Terry (Corie) Taylor of San Antonio, TX, Trent Taylor of West Jordan, UT, Tressa (Marty) Kinnear of Goodyear, AZ and Tanya Alpers of Nampa, ID; 10 grandkids, 1 great-grandchild, 5 sisters and her brother as well as numerous nieces and nephews that she loved.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frank.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 12, 2018 12:00 noon at Peel Funeral Home,  8525 W Magna Main St (2700 S) Magna, UT.  A viewing for friends and family will be held Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Peel Funeral Home.  Burial services will be immediately following the funeral at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W 4100 S West Valley City, UT.
