Shanna Rae Schrader Law born September 28, 1969 in Salt Lake City, UT to Wilford and Patricia Schrader, passed away Saturday August 25th in her home, after a long and difficult battle with mental illness.  Shanna is among the most kind, generous, and thoughtful people we have had to privilege of knowing.  She constantly sought the happiness of all those around her, and lit up any room with her presence.  Her beautiful smile would draw you in and her kind and tender heart would fill you with joy and love. Shanna is a people person. Her happiest moments were in a room full of friends and family, exchanging stories and laughing out loud. Seeing joy on the faces of those around her was her greatest desire. She loved to dance, especially in a crowd of loud people at a Carrie Underwood concert.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Trevor Law; her children, Ryan Law and Chelsey Rasmussen, with soon to be born granddaughter Baby Rae; her son and daughter-in-law, Brady Rasmussen and Rachel Law; her father, Wilford Schrader; her mother, Patricia Arnoldus; her brothers and sister, Mark Schrader, Shelley Schrader, and Adam Grimstead. And we can’t forget her little shadow and K9 companion, Zoey.

Although her mental illness changed who she was and ultimately took her from us, we will always remember her as the beautiful, kind, and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister and friend she was.

Thank you, Shanna for being my wife, my best friend, and for teaching me how to be a better man.  Thank you for all the lives you touched. You will be missed!
