Shelley Dymock Shelley, age 69, died peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Born April 14, 1956, in Tooele, UT, to Elwyn and Anna Cluff Dymock. She was previously married to J. Loren Wadsworth, with whom she shared two children. She later married Robert (BJ) Shelley, who preceded her in death.

If you knew the Dymocks, you knew this: family was Shelley’s whole world. She was the heart of every gathering—boating trips, camping adventures, barbecues, and Sunday morning coffee chats. She was a Disneyland regular, making magical memories with her grand- and great-grandkids every chance she got. And don’t even try to out-fun her on Bunco night—Shelley brought the luck and the laughter, always giving those dice a proper rub.

Her mornings started with her beloved coffee (extra caramel, extra shot—thank you very much) and a Kindle in hand. She adored traditions: Witches Night Out, holiday lights, and decorating. She was an incredible cook—her enchiladas and lasagna were always requested on birthdays.

Shelley also had a fantastic career and treasured the lifelong friendships she made at Hercules, Granite School District, Chevron, and Questar. She was sharp, dependable, and the one everyone trusted to get it done right.

She is survived by her daughter Jessica (Adam), son Joseph (Karin), grandchildren Tyler (Ariana), Shaylee (Devin), and Brayden (Heather), and great-grandchildren Weston, Emma, Hayden, Ava, and Greyson.

Waiting to welcome her home are her beloved husband BJ, her parents Elwyn and Anna, her siblings Carole, Bobbie, Vern, and Mary, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Shelley’s life will be held Saturday, August 2, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St.
