Spencer Alvis

Spencer (Spence) Alvis - 87 passed away April 24, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was a Magnaite through and through and worked at Hercules for 36 years. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman which he shared with all his children and grandchildren. They have many memories of their outings with grandpa. He enjoyed hunting and bagged his last deer at age 75.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dellene; his daughters, Della Davis, Cammie Wood (Mike), Leah Wright (Daryl), and his son Bob Alvis (Lori); as well as 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Spence loved to socialize and made friends wherever he went, and he will be dearly missed.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 12 noon at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 W. 4100 S.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 at the Webster Center, 8952 W. Magna Main Street.
