Steven Wayne Larsen, age 39, passed away on January 31, 2026, at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
Steven grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where he developed the strong work ethic and creative spirit that defined his life. A talented and driven professional, he was the owner and operator of Impact Controls, an electrical control company he built with pride, dedication, and skill.
Steven had a deep love for the outdoors and cherished family trips to Lake Powell, where many of his most treasured memories were made. He will be remembered for his humor, kindness, artistic nature, and unwavering fighting spirit. His strength and resilience left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Steven was a devoted family man. He was deeply loved by his wife, Julie Larsen, and was a proud and loving father to Conner Larsen, Zoey Larsen, Ruben Larsen, and Ledger Larsen. He is also survived by his mother, Michelle Larsen; and his sisters, Ashley Schaugaard, Adrienne (Arron) Groll, and Alicia (Dallin) Eyre; 10 nieces and nephews who adore him and held a special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Larsen; grandmother, Judy Tingey; grandfather, Steven Larsen; aunt, Katherine Larsen; and uncles, Scott Tingey and Ryan Tingey.
Though his time with us was far too short, Steven’s legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
