Thurma Sellers

February 27, 1936 — July 2, 2018

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt was taken from us Monday July 2, 2018 due to complications from a fall.  Thurma was born March 27, 1936 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Adrian and Emma Elmer.  She received her associates degree from Salt Lake Community College and also attended LDS Business College.  She was a loving, loyal wife to her husband of 51 years, Cecil C. Sellers.  They were married September 5, 1956 and later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.  Mom was a terrific, caring mother to her 5 children.  She was lovingly known as Grandma and Grammy by her grandchildren.   Thurma loved sewing, all kinds of embroidery, knitting and quilting.  She was an avid reader and a direct descendant of Daughters of Utah Pioneers.

Survived by her 5 children, Emma (Michael) Childs, Kathleen Rohn, Thurman (Tamera) Sellers, Suzan (Jack) Cox and Scott (Tanya) Sellers; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Sellers, sister, Nina Elmer Zabriske.

Graveside services will be held Saturday July 7, 2018, 11:00 am at Spanish Fork Cemetery, 420 E 400 N, Spanish Fork.  Visitation will be held Friday July 6, 2018, 6-8 pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna.  Condolences:  www.peelfuneralhome.com
