July 2, 1929 – December 9, 2025
I was born on July 2, 1929, in the small farming town of Altonah, Utah, to Robert Kennon and Elmina Prows Davis. At age 12, my family moved to Salt Lake City, and during my senior year of high school, we relocated to Tooele, where I graduated.
On August 13, 1948, I married Edwin McMillin in Tooele. We shared a loving life together until Ed’s passing on December 14, 2005. Together, we raised two children: Connie (Dee) Nash and Bruce (Debby) McMillin. I was blessed with eight grandchildren—Shane (Tiffanie), Veronica, Shara (Ron), Rochelle (Brian), Brandon “Spike” (Erika), Valerie (Russ), Richard (Brittany), and Chevis—along with 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
In 1953, Ed and I purchased our home in Magna, where I still reside. I owned and operated the Magna Flower Shop for 18 years before retiring. I loved traveling and visited many countries and nearly every U.S. state, with the exception of the Northeast.
I am survived by my children, Connie Nash and Bruce (Debby) McMillin; my grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and my beloved dog, Sparky.
I am preceded in death by my husband, Ed; parents; brothers, Calvin and Lavar Davis; sister, Kenna Edmondson; son-in-law, Dee Nash; and great-granddaughter, Bradee.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 16, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home.
Mom/Grandma, you are missed already! We will cherish our countless fond memories of you. Please know Sparky is being well taken care of, Shara and Ron are giving him a loving home.
