Tony E. Ortiz

Passed away Dec 16, 2016 at age 83. He was born October 31,1933 to Frank and Rafaelita Ortiz in town of Ortiz, Colorado.

Tony was married to his soulmate Lucille Christian for 60 years. They resided in Garfield and then moved to Magna, where they lived for over 50 years. Survived by sister Geraldine and brother Bobby, children David (Loriena), Shirley(Kevin), Karen, Jay (Ellen), Phillip (Toni), 18 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Proceeded in death by wife Lucille and his sons Wayne and Les.

He served our country in the US Air Force and later retired from Kennecott. Our Dad loved the outdoor life in Utah. Camping, Hunting and Fishing were some of his many passion in life. He loved spending time at his property in Duchesne, this is where many happy memories and family gatherings were held. He was so proud of his hand made potato bins to give to his family.

Services held on Wednesday December 21 ^st from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Peel Funeral Home in Magna, Interment will follow 1:00pm at Grantsville Cemetery.
