1929 ~ 2015

Our loving daddy, Victor Griego Jr. passed away September 3, 2015 in West Valley City, UT. He was born March 19, 1929 in La Madera, NM to Victor Sr. and Cleotilde DeVargas Griego. He married Mary Theresa Leichtle, she preceded him in death. Victor served in the US Army, retired from HAFB, and was a lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion. He had a heart of gold and gave to many charities. He enjoyed singing and cars, and he loved his grandchildren who knew him as “grandpa great”. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

He is survived by his children, Richard (CeCe), Doreen Trujillo, Darlene (Norman) Ogaard, and John; many grand and great grandchildren; and brother, Joe S. Griego. Preceded in death by wife; parents; sisters and brothers; children, Betty Joyce and Victor Griego III; and grandson, Christopher Ogaard.
