Vivian Summers

June 21, 1942 — February 6, 2015

On Friday February 6, 2015 at 1:06 p.m. my mom, Vivian Summers passed away from complications due to cancer, pneumonia and Alzheimer's . My mom was one of the most loving and caring people to ever walk the earth. She touched everyone she came in contact with and was loved by all. Mom was a woman of prayer and faith and believed that all things are possible.
My mom was unable to have children of her own and chose to adopt and give her heart and a home to two children who needed her love. Mom truly knew the definition of unconditional love. Mom gave her life so that my life would be more fulfilling.

Mom gave me discipline, love, companionship, friendship, guidance, advice and unwavering support. Mom never asked for anything in return and only saw the good in all.
Through her death, I want you to celebrate her life, what she stood for and how she lived it. Remember to give everyone a chance, never judge and always offer help to those in need.

I love you mom and will never forget your life lessons, the way you made me feel so loved, the compassion that you showed all and the mom that you were. You will be missed

Your Son

"Earth's loss, heaven's gain. One of the sweetest women I've ever known, Vivian Summers, passed away today. I was fortunate to have her in two parts of my life: my childhood in Willamina and then later in Cottage Grove. Vivian had a gentle spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand, which she did for me on my wedding day. Big Lar and Viv are very much loved by many of my Willamina friends and my South Lane friends."

The greatest mom I ever knew. Full of love, compassion, faith and patience. A person who saw the good in everyone, never judged and was willing to lend a hand to those in need.         Mom was a special person who will be missed by many but especially by those who knew her best. My dad lost a great companion, lover, wife and partner. My heart breaks for you. I know you will continue on but with only half of what made you whole. Mom, you will be missed but never ever forgotten. Your love will live on through all of us.

Go in Peace, We will see you soon

I love you mom !
