Vonda Lois Smith Mower Kaighn

Vonda Lois Kaighn, born on August 31, 1936 to A. LaVon and Dott Hone Smith. She passed away on Wednesday March 15, 2017 while at her home in Magna.

Vonda was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an avid fisher and outdoors women. Vonda loved her antiques and knick knacks.

Vonda is survived by husband, David F. Kaighn, sister, Beverly Austin, daughters; Sandra (Sam) James, Ada Frandsen, sons; David Mower, David (Diana) Kaighn, Patrick Kaighn, Kenneth (Candy) Kaighn, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A. LaVon and Dott, first husband, Billy Glen Mower, brothers; Richard, Billy Smith, sisters; Joy, Frances, Naomi.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday 3/20/2017 at the Pleasant Green 1st Ward, 8739 W 3000 S, Magna. Viewing will be 12-12:45 pm at the church before services. Graveside services 12 noon Tuesday 3/21/2017 at the Manti City Cemetery. For more information go to www.peelfuneralhome.com
