Wallace Ford Sadler, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather, died on December 22, 2010 in Bountiful, Utah.  He was born on January 1, 1914 in Magna, Utah to Leslie Dare and Amelia Hardman Sadler.  He grew up on the family farm in a family of eight children, three girls and five boys, and he lived all of his nearly 97 years in Magna.   On March 20, 1939, he married Dorothy Taylor in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Together they had a family of seven children:  Richard Wallace (Claudia), Ruth (William) Hassell, James Leslie (Karen), John Arnold (Jennifer), William Taylor (Karen), Michael Kay (Florence), and Michele (Stephen) Adams.  His posterity includes 28 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.  Throughout his life, his family and church were foremost in his endeavors.  He enjoyed reading, gardening, fishing, sports, traveling, the out of doors, and he valued his heritage.  He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings including Elders Quorum President, Bishop, and Temple Worker.  He enjoyed particularly being a bishop in the same area as his grandfather who was the first bishop in the area, Lehi Nephi Hardman.  He was a child of the Great Depression and worked for nearly four decades for Kennecott Copper.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 58 years Dorothy, his son James Leslie and all of his brothers and sisters: Rea Fay, Leslie Grant, Alice Evelyn, Alonzo Eugene, Frances Muriel, LeGrande Whitney, and Orville Lavell.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the Pleasant Green 1 st Ward, 8739 West 3000 South, Magna.   Friends may call 10-11:45  am at the church to greet family members.  Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.  Condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
