Willis Max Lester

Willis Max Lester, age 69, of Magna, Utah, passed away on July 27, 2026. He left us unexpectedly. 

Born on February 24, 1957, in Magna, Utah, he was the son of Willis Max Lester & Raeola Dean Lester. Max went on to graduate from Cyprus High School and built a fulfilling career at Kennecott. On January 17th 1976, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Eiden, with whom he had 3 beautiful children, Tyler, Jaime, & Jessica. 

Max was defined by his generous heart and his loving, happy personality. Max was deeply loved by all who knew him. He was happiest when he was hunting, fishing, and surrounded by family. Max loved his family dearly. 

He is survived by his children, Tyler Lester (Amisha Lester), Jaime Blaisdell (John Blaisdell), Jessica Ellingford (Trent Ellingford); his grandchildren, Hailey, Carson, Collin, Ella, Charlie, Olivia, Brody, Este, Ember, and Evory; and his brother, Michael Lester.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Lester & Dean Lester. 

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 5-8 pm at 2769 S. 8500 W, Magna, Utah
