DERICK FABERT

1973 ~ 2021

Derick Winston Fabert, 47 of Salt Lake City, UT, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2021.

Derick was born on July 28, 1973 to Douglas Eugene Fabert and Doreene Lee. He graduated from Kearns High School in 1991. He was on the high school soccer team which started his lifelong passion for the sport. He was a devoted Raiders fan and had a deep appreciation for music. Derick held a part time vending position at Usana Ampitheatre which allowed him to enjoy many live concerts by his favorite artists.

Sadly, he leaves behind four beautiful children, Tyler J. Fabert, Daniel V. Fabert, Joseph A. Fabert, and Savannah M. Fabert; as well as two amazing grandsons, Boston and Luke Fabert.  He is also survived by his mother, Doreene Lee Fabert; and siblings, Jamie (JoAnn) Fabert, Angie Cook, and Jason (Katie) Fabert. Many extended family members and lifelong friends.

Derick is preceded in death by his grandparents, Gordon and Sherreldene Lee; cousins, Jenny, Chad, and Heather as well as his father.

Please join us in celebrating Derick’s life at an open house service held Friday June 11, 2021 from 5pm-8pm at 3045 W Bernina Drive (located at the pavilion behind the church), Taylorsville, Utah.
