Philip Mark Naclerio

1962 ~ 2019

It is with grievous hearts that the family of Phil Naclerio announce his passing.

An amazing man with many gifts and talents, most everyone knew him for his musical accomplishments. His first and most important gift was his ability to love his family with every fiber of his being.

Born April 14th 1962 at 8:36 PM to Patricia Jeannette Trent Martini and Nicholas John Naclerio in Flushing General Hospital, in Flushing Queens, New York. It was a beautiful spring night that his star touched down.

Phil had an infectious personality that touched anyone he met and to this day maintains friends with people he knew as a child.

Phil was the pillar of strength in this family who everyone put their faith and trust in. Our pillar was taken from us due to a senseless act of violence. We will as a family need to gather all of the strength that each of us have left to try and strengthen his pillar once again. In his name, in his memory, and in his hope this family stays strong.

Phil is survived by his mother, Patricia Jeannette Martini, his father, Nicholas and his wife Delia Naclerio.

Phil's passing is a devistating loss for his two surviving daughters, Brittany Jeannette Paez (Johnny Paez) and Brandi Shawn Naclerio (Matthew Woodward). Phil was their dad in every sense of the word, he was their savior, their protector. Phil dedicated his life for his girls. Never wavering in the worst of times. His dedication in life were his girls and their safety and letting them know that they were loved and necessary to his very existance and just as important in his life was the mother of his children, Chrystal Laree Naclerio, loving mother and grandmother. She shared with Phil the joys of young life and love and also the sorrows that changes bring. And to this day remain friends and share a love that transends time and place.

The greatest gifts of all were the gifts of his grandchildren that his daughters gave him, they were the cherry on top of his cake. Born in order: Xander Juan Paez (11), Lilyanna Jeannette Paez (4), Dominic Matthew Woodward (4), and Adrian Guardiola Woodward (20 months). The abundance of joy that Phil knew because of his grandchildren will live on in them forever. Each one takes with them a very special part of grandpa.

Albert Stephan Martini, beloved stepfather of Phil, was a very important part of Phil's life, they shared many times together bonding as father and son do. Phil loved Al as a son loves a father and Al loved Phil as a father loves a son. Their good times will continue in heaven, take care of each other.

Phil is survived by his aunt, Teresa Kathleen Trent Bailey. Although only 6 years apart they grew up as brother and sister and share a history that only they know. Aunty T is heart broken, he was her Phil.

Phil will be once again in his paternal grandmother's arms, grandma Lillian Naclerio, who will take good care of her grandson. She once said "Philly is the light in my life." She was a remarkable woman who endured many hardships but always, always loved her children and her grandchildren. Phil will be greated by his his maternal grandmother, Vicky Trent and his maternal grandfather, Thomas K. Trent and all who have left us and who wait for us to join them so we can mend our fences in heaven.

Phil leaves behind two very special people in his life, a son, Anthony J. Gettler and a daughter, Alexa L. Gettler, who he loved as though they were born to him. A life of love and memories are shared with these two beautiful people and helping Anthony and Alexa brought him joy.

Phil is Survived by his two brothers, Mark Naclerio (Blessilda) and Michael Naclerio (Kimberly), His sister Laura Vogt, and his large family of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

Grateful thanks to all who's life he touched and who touched him back. He loved you all with all his heart. You will find him again in the wind, in the rain, the sun, in the eyes of a beautiful soul and his music. Family and friends were the tail to his shooting star.

Forever in our hearts, forever in our souls.

Psalm 127:5 Blessed is the man whos quiver is full for he is loved by god. And, Phil your quiver is full and you will live on, always.
