Price List

These prices are effective as of January 1, 2024 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only those items you desire. (However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our services.) If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you select.

This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery or crematory services, flowers, and newspaper notices. The prices for those items will be shown on your bill or statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected. (We may charge you for our services in buying these items.)

TRADITIONAL FUNERAL SERVICE PACKAGE $4,500.00

Services of funeral director and staff, transfer of remains, embalming, other preparation of the body, use of facilities for visitations (evening viewing & prior to the funeral) and funeral services or services at another facility, funeral coach, floral/service vehicle, interment at the cemetery, acknowledgment cards and register book. The price can be reduced if an evening viewing is not held or if a graveside service is selected. The services and items included in the package are itemized below.

SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF

Our professional services includes but is not limited to consultation with family, and clergy, arrangement and direction desired, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents; and arrangement and direction of visitation and funeral services, prior, during, and following funeral including coordination with those providing other portions of funeral, e.g. cemetery, crematory, and others. (This fee for our services will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremation, immediate burials, and forwarding and receiving of remains.)

EMBALMING

$950.00

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as immediate burial or direct cremation. Utah law requires burial, cremation, or refrigeration within 24 hours of death if no embalming is done. If embalming is declined, we will refrigerate until a decision on final disposition is made.

OTHER SERVICES

FORWARDING OF REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME

$2,000.00 + air tray

This charge includes removal of remains, services of staff, embalming, and receptacle for the body, necessary authorizations, and local transportation to airport. It does not include the services of staff or use of facilities for any visitation or rites prior to forwarding remains.

RECEIVING OF REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME

$1,500.00

This charge includes temporary shelter of remains, transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory and required services of staff.

It does not include the services of staff or use of facilities for visitation or for funeral rites.

IMMEDIATE BURIALS --- Price range

$2,500.00 to $4,400.00

Our charge for immediate burial (without any attending rites) includes removal and shelter of remains - local transportation to cemetery - necessary services of staff.

CREMATIONS --- Price range

$1,800.00 to $4,200.00

Cremation charges will be determined by what services are selected such as if a viewing and/or funeral services are done prior to cremation, or if memorial or graveside services are selected following cremation.

DIRECT CREMATION & CREMATION OPTIONS

Our charge for direct cremation without any attendant rites or ceremonies includes, removal of and sheltering of remains, transportation to local crematory, necessary services of staff, crematory fee, cremation container consisting of fiberboard

This does not include the State and County permit fees (currently $157.00).

Cremation options with services:

Cremation with casket selected from our mortuary - $2,000.00 + casket

Cremation with embalming and family only viewing - $2,800.00

Cremation with embalming, rental casket, and day or evening viewing only - $3500.00

Cremation with embalming, rental casket, day viewing, & mortuary service - $3900.00

Cremation with embalming, rental casket, day viewing, and church service - $4200.00

Note: the crematory may charge more for persons over 300 lbs. and cremation container not made of “fiberboard.”
